WAARSCHUWING Het niet opvolgen van de juiste werkwijzen kan
ernstige verwondingen of zelfs de dood tot gevolg hebben.

►

Controleer of het te bewerken voorwerp goed wordt ondersteund.

►

Voorkom dat de schijf blokkeert bij het doorslijpen. Ondersteun het te
bewerken voorwerp aan beide zijden van het slijppunt om te voorkomen
dat de schijf vast komt te zitten. In geval van blokkering laat u de gashen-
del los en maakt u de schijf vrij. Controleer voordat u verdergaat of de
schijf niet beschadigd is en of deze goed vast zit.

Controleer of er niemand in de buurt is.

►

Controleer of mensen of materialen geen gevaar van vonken ondervin-
den.

►

Als het gereedschap op plastic of een ander niet-geleidend materiaal
wordt gebruikt, bestaat het risico op elektrostatische ontlading.

►

U dient een persoonlijke veiligheidsuitrusting te gebruiken, zoals be-
schreven in het hoofdstuk Persoonlijke veiligheidsuitrusting

►

Uitglijden, struikelen en vallen zijn een belangrijke oorzaak van ernstige
en dodelijke verwondingen. Let op dat er niet te veel slangen in het loop-
of werkgebied rondslingeren.

►

Wees in onbekende omgevingen altijd voorzichtig. Er kunnen verborgen
gevaren bestaan, zoals elektriciteits- en andere nutsleidingen.

►

Houd uw lichaam altijd in balans en uw voeten stevig op de vloer.

►

Slijp niet met de zijkant van snijschijven en rechte schijven of met de

binnenkant van komschijven.

►

Reageer snel op extreme trillingen als gevolg van beschadigde of onjuist
geplaatste inzetgereedschappen.

►

Blijf uit de buurt van draaiende aandrijfassen en schuurmiddelen. De
draaiing kan na het loslaten van de gashendel nog enkele seconden door-
gaan. Leg het gereedschap pas neer als het draaien is gestopt.

►

Opgeslagen perslucht in de slang kan het gereedschap onbedoeld in wer-
king zetten.

►

Als de energievoorziening uitvalt, moet u de bedieningsinrichting uit-
schakelen.

►

Als een slijpmachine met gemonteerde slijpschijf is gevallen, moet de
schijf grondig worden onderzocht alvorens hem opnieuw te gebruiken

►

Ontkoppel de netvoeding alvorens de schijf te verwisselen of onderhoud
uit te voeren.

►

Bewaar het gereedschap altijd op een droge en schone plaats als het niet
in gebruik is.

Kapotte slijpschijf

Indien de slijpschijf beschadigd is, moet de gebruiker de oorzaak hiervan zorg-
vuldig nagaan en deze verhelpen.

Als het mankement ontstaat bij gebruik van gereedschap, moeten de fabrikant
van de slijpschijf en de fabrikant van het gereedschap hierover direct geïnfor-
meerd worden.
