the speakers are from the walls,
the better they will sound.
Surround Speakers
should be placed
directly to the sides
of the seating area
and approximately
3 feet (1 meter)
above the listener’s
ear level.
Subwoofer
placement is
dependent on room
size and shape.
Experiment to find a
location that
produces the
smoothest response.
Surround Back Speakers
should
be placed approximately 3 feet
(1 meter) above the listener’s ear
level and 30
°
off the center axis.
Direct radiators (4200 LRs) may be
used here, with or without an
subwoofer.
