All maintenance should be performed by a qualified service technician.

3.1.- Mechanical
3.1.1- Sewing Head Adjustments

1.- Adjusting the needle height

First, check to see if the needle is inserted to the proper depth.

Turn the hand wheel until the needle reaches the highest position of its
stroke.

Adjust vertical distance (a) between the point of the needle and the top
surface of the needle plate. To make this adjustment, loosen screw (1)
with a supplied T wrench and move needle holder guide (2) up or down as
required.
