FILLING
Fill the appliance with cold water, taking care to leave the hot outlet disconnected to let all the air inside the tank come
out. When water starts to come out of the hot outlet, connect it to the system
Warning: to avoid permanent damage to the domes, remove the protective nylon only if the panel is full of
water.
4.13
CONNECTION EXAMPLES
Connecting more DISCOTERM S: in case two or more panels for the same plant are installed, the connection between
the panels must be done in series (FIG_04-11). Maximum number of devices that can be connected in series: 6 (six).
5.1
DISCOTERM S CLEANING
The transparent upper part must be kept as clean as possible as dust and dirt limit the passage of the sun's
rays, reducing its efficiency. For cleaning use only water with non-rough cloths, to avoid scratching the dome that would
lose transparency.
5.2
PERIODIC MAINTENANCE
The appliance must be checked at least once a year.
In particular, it is necessary to:
• check the condition of the domes and the sealing gasket, making sure that there are no cracks on the domes or cracks
in the sealing gasket, in order to avoid condensation inside which would alter the performance of the panel.
• check the status of the tray making sure that no water leaks
• replacement of the magnesium anode to restore an effective protection against galvanic corrosion
• verifi
cation of fixings and fittings
The lack of regular maintenance can cause damage to the system and to people or animals for which the manufacturer
can not be held responsible.
Maintenance must be performed by an authorized technician.
During maintenance, pay attention to all the safety instructions given in the previous paragraphs
