Danger due to tipping or slipping away of the unit

Danger from tyres coming loose

Danger from flying dirt and dust particles

Danger from loose hanging clothing or long hair

Stumbling and falling

Hearing loss due to noise damaging to hearing

Disease of the spine due to lifting and carrying heavy loads

•
Ensure proper stability
•
Wear personal protective equipment: safety shoes, safety goggles, gloves, Hearing
protection
•
Put protective equipment into operation
•
Use correct mounting
•
Remove dirt from wheel beforehand (wet cleaning, do not use compressed air!)
•
Wear tight-fitting work clothes, possibly with Velcro fasteners at the sleeves and
the base of the legs.
•
Protective cap for long hair
•
If possible, use transport aids and lifting equipment and transport in pairs.
•
Ensure ergonomic workplace design
•
Lifting and carrying in a way that is suitable for the spine
BEHAVIOUR IN THE EVENT OF MALFUNCTIONS AND IN THE EVENT OF DANGER

In case of recognisable hazards, stop operation immediately, secure or lock the
tyre balancing machine against unintentional use.
•
Report any defects to the person in charge / supervisor.
•
Do not carry out any unauthorised provisional measures on the machine!
