13.4
TO LOWER WHEEL-FREE JACKS
a.
Be sure the safety area is free of people and objects;
b.
Raise the jacks a little bit by pushing the lifting button to clear off the mechanical safeties;
c.
Press the lowering button: the jacks will take seconds to release the safeties and then begins to
descend lower under its weight and the load lifted.
d.
Keep pressing the lowering button until the jacks are lowered completely.
13.5
RUNWAY LEVELING
During this procedure, DO NOT attempt to raise lift with any load.
After a period of service, due to natural loss of the oil or trapped air in the hydraulic line, it could be
possible that the runway P2 (the slave runway) is lower than the runway P1 (the master runway). In this
case, level the runways following these instructions:
a.
Raise the runways at approximate 300mm;
b.
Set ADJ/WORK selector into the position “ADJ”;
d.
Feather-pushing the lifting button/the lowering button to adjust the height of the runway P2;
e.
Turn off the leveling cock 2 after the runway P2 reaches at the same height as the runway P1;
f.
Set ADJ/WORK selector into the position “WORK” after the adjustment.
13.6
MANUAL EMERGENCY LOWERING
In case of an emergency (power failure), the lift can be lowered manually to its initial position as
