Setting of synchronization ropes
To check the synchronization you could hear if the safety catches are touching the carriage at the same time, the
carriage which touches later must be retightened.
1. Raise the lifts to a height of 100-200mm
2. Tight the traction rope by using a flat wrench

Description of the parts:
A = Wire rope
B = Core
C = Stand
D = Wire
E = Stand center
F = Layer
An exchange of the synchronization ropes must be made in case of the following relevant points:
1. Six wires within one layer are defect
2. Three wires of a strand are defect within one layer
3. Corrosion on ropes or connections
4. Kinking, crushing, heat exhaustion or a broken core
5. A wear of 10% of the original diameter
