Multi-View KVMP™ Switch User Manual

Extended Desktops

The Extended Desktops command allows you to enable/disable and make
configuration to the extended desktops function. Type your command in the
following format:

C C [Enter]

Enabling / disabling the Extended Desktops

For example, to enable the extended desktops function, type the following:

ext on [Enter]

Configuring Layout for the Extended Desktops

For example, to configure the extended desktops layout to GroupA with port 1
and port 2, GroupB with port 3 and port 4, type the following:

extlyt p1am p2ae p3bm p4be [Enter]

For example, to configure the extended desktops layout to GroupA with port 1
and port 2, and no group with port 3 and port 4, type the following:

extlyt p1am p2ae p3ng p4ng [Enter]
