Telephone operation
Redial
Using the telephone base:
1. Press
REDIAL/
PAUSE
in idle mode.
2. Press
CID
,
DIR
or
REDIAL/
PAUSE
repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
3. Press
SAVE
.
4. The screen displays
EDIT NUMBER
. Use the dialing keys to edit the number, if
necessary.

Press
CID
or
DIR
to move the cursor to the left or right
.
f
Press
BACKSP
or
X/DELETE
to erase a digit.
f
Press and hold
X/DELETE
to erase all digits.
f
Press and hold
REDIAL
/PAUSE
to insert a three-second dialing pause
(a
p
appears).
5. Press
NEXT
.
6. The screen displays
SELECT LABEL
. Press
CID
or
DIR
to select one of the
following labels, and then press
NEXT
.

Cell
f
Work

7. The screen displays
ENTER NAME
. Use the dialing keys to enter a name
(up to 15 characters). Press a key repeatedly until the desired character
shows on the screen (see
Character chart

Press
CID
or
DIR
to move the cursor to the left or right

0
to add a space.
f
Press
BACKSP
or
MUTE
/DELETE
to erase a character.
f
Press and hold
MUTE
/DELETE
to erase all characters.

Press

to change the next letter to upper or lower case.
8. Press
SAVE
and then
Saved to directory displays. You hear a confirmation tone.
Delete a redial entry
1. Press
REDIAL/
PAUSE
in idle mode.
2. Press
CID

DIR
or
REDIAL/
PAUSE
repeatedly to browse until the desired
number displays.
3. Press
MUTE
/DELETE
on the handset or
X/DELETE
on the telephone base to
delete the displayed number. You hear a confirmation tone.
