Voice guide
This feature is an alternative way for you to do the basic setup of the answering
system. You can follow the voice guide to record your own announcement, set the
number of rings, and set the message alert tone.
This feature is only available on the cordless handset.
1. Press

4. Set up your answering system by inputting designated numbers, as instructed in
the voice guide.
NOTE:
You can press

to quit the voice guide at any time.

You can also select
Toll saver
. If toll saver is selected, the answering system answers
a call ater two rings when you have new messages, and ater four rings when there
are no new messages. This feature allows you to check for new messages and avoid
paying long distance charges if you are calling from out of your local area. Unless you
change it, the answering system answers an incoming call ater three rings.
To set the number of rings:
