Making a call

Press

Temporary ringer silencing

While the telephone is ringing, press

MUTE

to silence the ringer

temporarily on that handset only, or press

VOL

on the telephone base.

This turns of the ringer without disconnecting the call. The next incoming call rings

normally at the preset volume.
