2. Press the button again within 10 seconds

to switch oﬀ the lock

and to unlock the control panel.

After 10 seconds the hob ﬁ rst needs to be switched on again with the on-/oﬀ
button

of the hob before you can switch oﬀ the childproof lock.

Tip

Set the hob to the childproof lock mode before cleaning the hob to
prevent it from accidentally switching on.

Pause

With this pause function, you can set the entire hob to ‘pause’ for
10 minutes during cooking. Th

e power of all cooking zones is

switched oﬀ automatically. Th

is can come in handy when a meal is

boiling over and you want to quickly clean the hob. Th

is way, you

can leave the hob in a safe way during a short period of time, without
losing settings.

Switching the hob to the pause mode

One or more cooking zones are active.

Press

the button.

A single beep will be heard. On the display of every cooking zone

becomes visible and the red light to the top right of the button is
constantly on.

Any set kitchen/egg timers have stopped.

•

All buttons are inactive except for the

button, the button

and the on-/oﬀ button

of the hob.

If you do not undertake any further action within 10 minutes,
all active cooking zones will be switched oﬀ automatically.
