Rx trace: Do this process with a PCB and Pegasus repair tool. The reference level of the
spectrum analyzer should be –30 dBm in this test . As for the other setups, set
them as Tx trace testing.
Repair tool setting

The setup of the Pegasus repair tool is as the above plots showing. There are three traces for
the GSM and Edge functions. One is for 850/EGSM bands, another is for DCS band and the
other is for PCS band. Therefore, to check if the three traces work correctly, the EGSM band,
DCS band and PCS band functions should be examined by the following steps. As for the
setup for the EGSM band is Channel : 975, DCS band Channel : 512 and PCS band
Channel : 512. The setups of 8960 and 8820 are listed as the following pictures showing.
