11. RF Board level examination procedure
11.1if the PCB could not boot
Check C367 by the oscilloscope to confirm whether the 26 MHz signal is correct or not. (as the Rx
measurement result 9) If the 26 MHz signal is not correct, change the device, OSC 300 26 MHz.
1. AGC-Gmagic out of limit & AGC RSSI out of limit, the two items mean there is
something wrong at the Rx trace.
a. Set up the Rx trace test condition.
b. Do the Rx trace testing with Pegasus Repair tool. The dsp value will be shown
upon the faceplate of the repair tool. Besides, the dsp value should distribute
among 60 ~70. In this test, the cell power of 8960 should be
-80.5dBm
；
the output
power of 8820 should be -80.5dBm .
c. If the dsp value is lower than 60, re-heat D1016 (RF switch) first and then do the
Rx measurement again with the Pegasus repair tool.
d. If the “re-heat”does not work, do the measurements of test points : C340 、 C339 、
C344
、
C350
及
C54 (as component displacement plot 1) with spectrum analyzer.
e. If the Rx measurement results are not like Rx measurement results 1~4
，
change
the D1016 with a new one.
f.
Do the RN300A~D measurements. If the measurement results are not like Rx
measurement results 5~8, change the RF Transceiver HD155154NP.
