Barred Dial
The
Barred Dial
function enables you to block
dialing of certain numbers. Barred dialing
is a service available through some service
providers.
to enable Barred Dial
1. From the main menu, launch
and
select
Security Setup > Barred Dial
.
Use the left navigation key to toggle
between
On
and
Off
options.
NOtE
: This option requires a password. Consult your service
provider if you do not know your password. Not all service
providers support this function.
Change Password
The
Change Password
feature enables you to
change your password for your SIM card PIN or
for your phone.
to change a password
1. From the main menu, launch
and select
Security Setup > Change
Password
.
2. Select the password you want to change:
PIN
,
PIN2
, or
Phone Lock Password
.
3. When prompted, input the old password,
then input the new password (max. 8
digits) twice.
NOTE: The default phone lock password is 1122. Consult your
service provider if you have forgotten a PIN password or need
further assistance with PIN passwords.
Data Protection
The
Data Protection
feature protects the data
on your phone from unauthorized access. This
feature enables you to password-protect your
data such as your phone book, SMS/MMS
messages, pictures, and files.

1. From the main menu, launch
and select
Security Setup > Data
Protection
.
2. Select whether you want to protect your
Phone Book
,
SMS
,
MMS
,
Album
, or
File Manager
.
3. Press
On
, and enter the password.
Enter the default password 1122, or use
the phone lock password. Refer to the
section
Change Password
to set your
password.
4. Press
Ok
to lock your data.
You will be prompted to enter a password
everytime you open a password-
protected data.
Restore Factory Settings
The
Restore Factory Settings
enables you to
restore all settings to factory default.
