OPERATING REMOTE CONTROL

 WARNING: Fireplace can 

turn on suddenly. Keep away 

from burner.

After lighting pilot, let pilot flame burn for about 

one minute. Slide remote selector switch to 

REMOTE position. You can now turn burner 

on and off with remote. 

IMPORTANT: 

Do not leave selector switch in 

REMOTE or ON position when pilot is not lit. 

This will drain batteries.

When any button is pushed on remote control, 

LCD display will glow blue. Blue glow will go 

off after several seconds if no action is being 

taken with remote.

ON/OFF

Push ON/OFF button and burners will come 

on in high position 

(see 

Figure 43

).

 An 

acoustic  signal  from  the  receiver  confirms 

the command.
Push ON/OFF button again and burners will 

turn off. 

A  beep  from  receiver  confirms  the 

command.

FLAME HEIGHT

This function allows you to control height 

of flames through 5 levels

Select manual flame height function by press

lower left corner of display. Use UP/DOWN 

arrow button to set desired flame height

SMART THERMOSTAT

The Smart Thermostat adjusts flame height 

in accordance to differences between set 

temperature and room temperature. As room 

temperature gets closer to set temperature the 

smart function will modulate the flame lower. 

As room temperature cools, it will modulate 

the flame higher.

ROOM THERMOSTAT

The remote control can operate as a room 

thermostat. The thermostat can be set to a 

desired temperature to control the comfort 

level in the room.

To activate, press THERMOSTAT button on re

mote control

appear to the right of temperature bulb graphic 

on display

 Use UP/DOWN 

arrow button to set desired room temperature. 

Control system will cycle fireplace on or off to 

maintain selected temperature.
