Only perform this test if you have a cleaning robot, otherwise move directly on to test 3.
Test 3 - Fall

With the filtering system and robot cleaner working,
drop the 6 kg weight from the top of the coping. The
siren must sound a maximum of 12 seconds after the
fall.
Filtering system and robot running for 10 minutes, your
immersion detector is monitoring (green indicator light
flashing), and must not either stop (red indicator light
flashing) or go off.
I certify that these tests have been performed in their entirety and that the device which was sold and delivered to me is in compliance
and in working order. I confirm that I received the complete product (packaging, detection unit with flexible tube, rigid tube, remote
siren – optional - battery, fastening kit with contact magnets, installation and operation guide with guarantee and monthly
maintenance sheets.
Swimming pool immersion detectors are not a replacement for common sense or individual responsibility. Their
purpose is not to be a replacement for responsibility and vigilance by a parent and/or responsible person, which
remain the essential factor in protecting children and dependant persons.
In no event may your retailer or the manufacturer of your swimming immersion system by held responsible for any
child, dependant person, adult or animal falling or drowning. In no event must the installation of the immersion
system reduce your vigilance or replace active monitoring of the swimming pool and the area around it.
Follow the safety advice shown on the packaging of your immersion detection system and in its installation and
operation guide.
