3.3.2 Setting the vacuum
1. Switch on the device using the push-
button (fig. 1(F)).
2. Keep the opening of the suction tube
(fig. 15) and the fingertip (fig. 16) shut.
3. Turn the vacuum regulator (fig. 1(E))
until the vacuum meter (fig. 1(D))
displays the desired vacuum. Please
note that higher vacuum values are
set by turning the vacuum regulator
clockwise and that the indicator of the
manometer moves counter clockwise
at the same time.
4. You can also perform fine adjustments
to the set vacuum using the additional
air opening on the fingertip.
5. To switch off the device, press and hold
the push-button (fig. 1(F)) for several
seconds.

3.3.3 Aspiration
1. Perform the aspiration procedure as you
were instructed by specialized personnel.
2. Control the aspiration procedure and the
desired vacuum using the additional air
opening on the fingertip (fig. 16).
3. Shut down the device after the aspiration
procedure according to section 3.5.
Please note that the pump can not be
started beyond an existing vacuum of
– 0.5 bar when switching on again.
Always take note of additional impor-
tant instructions in section 2.3 regar-
ding handling of the ASSKEA double
filter system!
Ensure that the battery has a suf-
ficient capacity during the aspira-
tion procedure. The battery status
display must signal green or yel-
low. If the display turns red, the
external power supply unit must
be plugged in immediately. In this
case, the aspiration can continue with-
out interruption.

LED blinks yellow
Pump continues to run for 5 minutes in curbed
operation (lower flow rate) before the device
switches off.
LED blinks red; device is off
After the automatic 40 minute switch off, the LED
continues to blink for 30 seconds.
