Combinating Cylinders
The warranty on Corbin Russwin products becomes void if the product is modified in any way, regardless of whether the modifications causes or contributes to any alleged defect. If a
Corbin Russwin product is modified it may no longer meet industry certification and quality control standards applicable to the original product and is no longer a genuine Corbin Russwin product.

combinate Mortise, Rim, KIK/KIL and IC type cylinders.
Pyramid has seven pin chambers, each of which must be combinated as per the cylinder type and bitting specification.

Chambers
The bottom pin
always equals the
shallowest operat-
ing cut.
The master pin
equals the differ-
ence between the
deep and shallow
operating cuts.
The build-up pin is
determined by sub-
tracting the plug total
from the control cut.
The top pin equals
the control cut.
Rules for
Conventional (Fixed
Core) Chambers
The bottom pin always
equals the shallowest
operating cut.
The master pin equals
the difference between
the deep and shallow
operating cuts.
The top pin is determined
by the plug total.
Rules for Non Control
Chambers
The bottom pin always equals
the shallowest operating cut.
The master pin equals the
difference between the deep
and shallow operating cuts.
