Material damage caused by working on the door leaf:

 Dismantle and remove the lock before working 

on the door leaf, for example when drilling or milling.

Impaired function caused by incorrect rebate gap:

 Adjust the rebate gap (“Explanation of terms”, 

page 38) appropriately (“Technical data”, page 57)

Material damage caused by unsuitable strike plate:

 Select and assemble the strike plate so that it always 

provides a stop face and sliding surface for the latch.

Material damage caused by incorrect handling during transport:

 Do not lift or carry the door leaf by the 

door handles.

Material damage caused by opening:

 Do not open the lock as this will damage it and void the warranty
