8.4 RS-232 Interface Commands
8.4.1 SYSTem:REMote

Function
Place the instrument in remote mode for RS232 interface control.
Display rem on the instrument display.
Abort the current measurement cycle.
Clear the last reading from the display.
Clear the output buffer.
Lock out the instrument front panel keys.
Set the trigger mode to Single shot.
Place the instrument in Hold mode.

Return the instrument to local mode.
Remove rem from the instrument display.
Enable the instrument front panel keys.
Set the instrument in Hold mode.
