STYLE RECORD:
RECORD A NEW STYLE:
1. Select record in the style record menu (level 1)
2. Press the (FUNCTION/NEXT) button to enter the record menu. The
LCD will display “Overdub”.
Use the (+/YES) or (-/NO) buttons or (DIAL) to select a recording mode
(overdub or replace). In overdub, a new recording will be added over
the top of the old. In replace, it will obviously be replaced by the new
recording.
3. Press the (FUNCTION/NEXT) button again to enter the rhythm
selection menu.
Use the (+/YES) or (-/NO) buttons or (DIAL) to select template rhythm
as your original sound. Press the (FUNCTION/BACK) button to return
to last step.
4. Press the (FUNCTION/NEXT) button again to enter the chapter menu.
Use the (+/YES) or (-/NO) buttons or (DIAL) to select the one of the 8
chapters of the rhythm. There are 8 chapters to be selected from: Main_
A, Main_B, Intro_M, Intro_m, FIll_A, Fill_B, Ending_M and Ending_m.
5. Press the (FUNCTION/NEXT) button again to enter the track in the
chapter menu. Tracks include; rhythm sub, rhythm main, bass, chord 1,
chord 2, chord 3, phrase 1 and phrase 2.
6. Press the (FUNCTION/NEXT) button again to enter the record ready
page. The style record is in the sync start mode and the beat will flash on
the LCD screen. At this time you can use the (+/YES) or (-/NO) buttons
or (DIAL) to change the voice for the current track. If you’ve picked
the drum track, you would only have drum kits for selection. Press the
(FUNCTION/BACK) button to return to last step.
7. Press the (START/STOP) button to start recording. The style will
play using the CM7 chord, and recorded data in the current loop will be
replayed in the next loop. You can record new data in the next loop while
listening to the data recorded in the last loop. Also, you can delete the
note being recorded in the last loop by pressing the same note at the
same time in the next loop within 1/8th of a note between.
8. Press the (START/STOP) button again to stop the recording. You will
return to sync start.
9. Press the (STYLE/RECORD) button to exit the current mode. You can
also repeat the operation by pressing the (FUNCTION/BACK) button to
return to the last step and select other options.
