The following should be done to set up the PC:
Step Action Comments
1 Run WINDOWS
2 Select the PROGRAM MANAGER.
3 Select TERMINAL.
4 Select SETTINGS.
5 Select COMMUNICATIONS.
6 Select the COM PORT to use.
Select 9600 for BAUD RATE.
Select 8 for DATA BITS.
Select 2 for STOP BITS.
Select NONE for PARITY.
Select OK. The COM PORT select should be the
same as the one that the cable from the
AH30 is connected to.
7 Select SETTINGS.
8 Select BINARY TRANSFERS.
9 Select KERMIT.
Select OK.
Step Action Comments
1 AH30 Press the [ACCT] key.
2 AH30
Use the [ ] to select [Access Accounts]
and press the [ENTER] key.
3 AH30
Use the [ ] to select [Transmit to PC]
and press the [ENTER] key.
4 PC From the WINDOWS TERMINAL menu
select RECEIVE BINARY FILE System will ask for a file
name.
5 PC Enter a file name ... the transfer is initiated.
