Adjusting pressure of brushes

1.

Place the device in a place that is not
sensitive.

2.

Start the device.

3.

Press the central adjusting lever on the
star grip (

1

) downwards into the drive slot

(

2

).

4.

Turn the star grip to adjust the height of
the brushes and thus the contact pres-
sure. The entire engine with the brushes
is moved up or down. On the scale (

3

) the

currently set height and the adjusting area
is displayed.

5.

Test the setting on a test area.

Driving

 Warning

Risk of injury caused by tripping or sliding
while pushing the mower, moving it back-
wards and turning it round.

► Make sure that the area is clear of ob-

jects and watch for safe footing.

Driving

Immediately switch off the brushes in case of a
dangerous situation by releasing the engine
brake lever.

Drive on:

1.

Press the drive lever towards the handle-
bar – device is running.

Drive off:

1.

Release the drive lever.

Adjusting speed:

The driving speed can be continuously adjus-
ted with the vario lever.

Adjust the driving speed only when the engine
is running.

Turning

Turning round on an even surface:

1. Switch off the drive.

2. Turn the device to the desired side.

3. Switch the drive back on.

Turning round on a sloping area:

1. Keep the drive switched on.

2. Turn the device upslope.

3. Hold back the handlebar and the inner

wheel.

The drive prevents sliding and supports the
turn manoeuvre.
