1.2 Hardware Overview
The PCIE-6001 is a full-height, full-length PCIe expansion card that acts as a additional storage
functionality exclusively to Artesyn MaxCore platforms. The following figure shows the
mechanical layout of PCIE-6001 card.
Figure 1-1 depicts length and height of the PCIE-6001
card. You will also find M.2 socket labels on the card.
1.3 Software Overview
Any installed AHCI/NVME SSDs are compatible with the latest Linux distributions, Windows 8.1
and Server 2012 R2. For more information on how to add native driver support in NVM Express
in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2, refer to
update to add native driver support .
