2.1 PRE-FLIGHT
2.1.1 ARV-QC label information
Users should refer to this product manual as user operation instructions
before and after each use to ensure safe operation and care of this rescue
device. Failure to use the Air Rescue Vest Quick Connect harness properly
may result in extreme injury or death.
• Perform an initial inspection before using
the ARV-QC. For inspection guidelines refer to
section 5.1.
• Copy ARV-QC label information into your
inspection log sheet (refer to Appendix I).
2.0 USER OPERATION
Read all product documentation and store in a secure location. Create a
copy of all product documentation and keep with the ARV-QC for reference.

2.2 VICTIM PACKAGING
2.2.1 Wrap the victim
• Remove ARV-QC from bag
and open.
• Place the ARV-QC high around
the shoulders of the victim.
• The victim can be safely flown
with their arms either inside
the ARV-QC or outside through
the armholes depending on
victim size.
ARC-QC can be donned on
victims in any position;
standing, sitting, supine,
or prone. Contact the ARS
Training Staff for more
information regarding
advanced extraction and
evacuation techniques.
