Setting Up a Wireless Network Connection

Note
: You have the option to customize your wireless network name or SSID after setting up your
wireless network connection for the first time. However, you must use the default SSID listed on the
gateway label when installing your gateway. See
Change Your Wireless Network Name (SSID)
for
more information.

Select Connect automatically to set up your wireless devices to automatically connect to
your wireless home network when they are powered on.

Click Connect to open the Connect to a Network window.

Enter the default Wi-Fi Security Key code (listed on the SBG6900-AC gateway label) in the
Security key field.
Note : If you have previously changed your wireless network security key code or password using
the SBG6900-AC Web Manager, enter that password here.

Select Hide characters and then click OK to encrypt (or hide) your network Security key (or
network password).
