6.3 Mounting the batteries
Two Battery Setup
In this case the best will be to use a 150 Watt battery in the mount at the front
of the Battery Hanger facing down.
The second battery mount will use a 90 Watt battery at the back on the pivoting rods, facing
to the back.
Both batteries are facing down, which will give maximum counter weight effect.
Three Battery Setup
In a three battery set up it is best to use three 90
Watt batteries.
Two batteries will be used in the mounts at the front
of the Battery Hanger hanging down in a V shape
and one battery at the back on the pivoting rods,
facing to the back.
Four Battery Setup
To use four batteries, a fourth Battery Mount needs
to be ordered.
Order Codes are:
TRINITY Battery Mount / Gold Mount
K2.0010288
or
TRINITY Battery Mount / V-Mount
K2.0010289
In this case the best will be to use four 90 Watt batteries.
Two in the mounts at the front of the Battery Hanger facing down and two
batteries at the back on the pivoting rods, one facing down and the other one
facing up.
In this manual we will stay with the more common three battery setup.
Clearance of the Pendulum.
After mounting the front batteries, you have to check if the Pendulum has enough clearance
to pass on the right front Battery. If the Pendulum cannot clear the batteries move both front
batteries to the frond ends of the rods using the knurled adjustment Knob at the back of the
battery hanger.
NOTICE
Make sure that the front left battery mount is NOT clamped onto the knurled knob before
adjusting.
If there is still insufficient clearance you can open the clamp of the Pendulum carrier and
move the pendulum carrier slightly to the back.
