5. Signal panel functions
5.1 General description
The control panel located at the front of the equipment may be used to monitor and control all the parameters of the
UPS and the batteries connected to it. The operating status of the UPS is shown by means of a liquid crystal display
(LCD) with two rows of 40 characters and four LEDs with three operating states: on steady, on flashing, off.
The meaning of the LEDs is shown below:

1 green INPUT
On Main and by-pass power supplies are present and correct
Flashing One of the two power supplies is not correct
Off Neither of the two power supplies is present or correct
2 green OUTPUT
On
The system output is switched onto inverter, the output power is
correct since it is less than 100%VA and the output disconnector
SWOUT is closed
Flashing
The system output is switched onto inverter, the output power is
greater than 100%VA, or SWMB is closed;
Off
The system output is switched onto automatic by-pass, or
SWOUT is open.
3 yellow BY-PASS
On The system output is switched onto the automatic by-pass line
Flashing
The system output is switched onto the automatic by-pass line
with the output power greater than 100%VA, or the manual by-
pass disconnector SWMB is closed
Off
When the system output is switched onto inverter or the output is
switched onto the by-pass line and both switches SWOUT and
SWMB are open, or when the TOTAL BLOCK command is
active
4 yellow BATTERY
On When the battery is supplying the power;
Flashing
The "LOW VOLTAGE ON BATTERY PRE-ALARM" is
active,
or the BATTERY DISCHARGE OR SWB OPEN alarm is active
Off When the battery is supplying the power and its voltage is correct
