3 MAINTENANCE

3.1 General guidelines

Maintenance should be performed to ensure reliable operation and constant

availability of DTS-TOP.

The maintenance entities are:

−

DTS-TOP;

−

the condition and connection of cables connected to the product.

Maintenance shall be performed by personnel in charge of maintaining

DTS-TOP.

Maintenance shall be performed once a year without switching off power.

3.2 Safety precautions

During maintenance observe the safety measures specified by local codes and

regulations on electrical safety.

3.3 Maintenance procedure

Maintenance includes the following activities:

−

visual inspection of DTS-TOP enclosure for mechanical damages (cracks, dents,

etc.) on the enclosure, cover and keys; no fractures in the flexible part of

microphone stand;

−

visual inspection of the incoming cables to DTS-TOP (should not be compacted

and have damage at the outer shell);

−

check for safety connection to the cable sockets - the cables should not have

any tension;

−

cleaning of DTS-TOP surface from dirt, using for this purpose the wet sponge

with mild soap solution or wet wipes for cleaning office appliances; the use of

chemically active solvents is not admitted;

−

when installing DTS-TOP on the wall, verify that the brackets are properly

fastened;

The approximate time of DTS-TOP maintenance is 30 minutes.
All actions carried out on the product, defects found and negative findings of the

maintenance shall be recorded in the special logbooks.
