3 MAINTENANCE
3.1 General guidelines
Maintenance shall be carried out to ensure the module fault-free performance and
instant readiness for use. Maintenance is carried out once a year without the product being
disconnected.
3.2 Safety precautions
During maintenance, observe safety precautions according to general and local
“Occupation safety rules when operating electrical installation”.
3.3 Maintenance procedure
Maintenance includes as follows:
−
during installation of ACM-IP2 in the cabinet, it is necessary to open the cabinet,
make sure that there is no moisture inside, make a visual inspection of
the ACM-IP2, if necessary, clean the terminal blocks and the unit from dust with
an air jet. The contaminants to be removed during air purge should not fall on
other blocks;
−
air purging during ACM-IP2 operation may be performed, is required;
−
check reliability of connection to the terminals of ACM-IP2 cables. Cable
conductors should be tensioned, the excess cable should be removed or
collected in coils and fixed in the cabinet with plastic mounting belts;
−
ensure that the cables are intact. Cables should not have sharp bends (bending
radius should be at least five cable diameters), they should not be squeezed and
have damage to the outer shell.
3.4 Checking operability
The efficiency of ACM-IP2 should be tested with equipment connected devices to it.
(Appendix A).
Verify ACM-IP2 with an analog call station:
−
alternately make a call to all available subscribers;
−
listen to reply messages.
Verify ACM-IP2 with a zonal loud-speaking alarm system:
−
alternately make a call to each of zones loud-speaking;
−
make sure that each message was played in the zone for which it was intended.
