4 Preparing the device for operation

The nasal cannula is connected to the breathing circuit in close proximity to 
the patient. The breathing circuit is basically identical with the illustration in 
chapter 4.6. 
 

 Warning 

Be  sure  to  adjust  the  required  flow  according  to  the 
instructions  provided  by  the  manufacturer  of  the  nasal 
cannula to avoid accidental pressure peaks.
