SATA 2.0 ports

The PCIe switch connects to the SATA 2.0 controller through a single-lane PCIe port.

The SATA 2.0 controller drives two SATA 2.0 ports for hard drives:
• The SATA 2.0 controller is a Silicon Image Sil3232 SATA 2.0 controller with a x1 Gen 1 connection

to the PCIe switch.

• The connections between the SATA 2.0 ports and the SATA 2.0 controller have a Serial ATA

Generation 2 transfer rate of 3.0 Gbps, 300MBs.
