The signals used to control the LCD power supply outputs are summarized in Table 3-4.
The signals are controlled by the power control register (see Power control register on
page 4-14).
Battery sensing
The battery sense input (
ALT_SUPPLY_SIG
) controls the PWR_EXT bit in the
PLD_PWR register. Software can read this bit to determine whether the system is
running from battery power or an external power supply. The state of the sense line can
be read from this bit in the power control register (see Power control register on
page 4-14).
