3. Starting a diffusion session

• Before the 1

st

session of a programme, the ARKOPHARMA diffuser will ope-

rate for a few seconds to empty out the system of any possible last drops of
an earlier diffusion session.
During this «cleaning», a countdown is displayed using the session numbers
3, 2, 1.
• The session always starts with 30 seconds of diffusion, then the ARKO-
PHARMA diffuser alternates periods of diffusion with pauses, in order to adapt
the best type of diffusion to the essential oil or mixture
used and to deliver an optimal olfactory experience.
Similarly, the ARKOPHARMA diffuser automatically
adjusts the duration of the session (between 15 and 60
minutes) and the number of daily sessions (from 1 to 3). The programme nu-
mber remains on the display and the countdown begins.
• The session duration corresponds to the total duration (including diffusion
and pause times) of the diffusion session. Below the number of daily sessions,
a line indicates the number of the session in progress.
At the end of this session, the ARKOPHARMA diffuser turns off automatically
after 1 minute’s inactivity.

2. Diffusing an Arkopharma essential oil or blend

• Press ON/OFF then + and - to set the programme number correspon-

ding to the number shown on the essential oil

bottle (the programme number, the programme

duration and the number of sessions are dis-

played). The keys are sensitive, simply touch

them (do not use forced pressure).

A short press advances the number by 1, while

a continuous press takes you directly to the next

number ending with a «0» or «5», then goes up

in 5s until the button is released.

• Press the « » symbol to start the

programme.

Pressing ON/OFF again turns off your

ARKOPHARMA diffuser.

• To change the programme when diffusion is

already underway, turn off the diffuser by pressing «ON/OFF» and switch it

back on again using the same button, then you can select the programme

you want before setting it in motion by pressing «play/pause».
