7.7 Water heater installation
1. Drill the wall and insert 2xΦ8 expansion pipes as per the sketch map and the drawn pitch for
suspending installation holes.
2. Fix the hanger support with 2xΦ4x50 wood screw to the wall.
3. Suspend the water heater on the hanger support.
Attention
The supporting wall bears a 16kg weight of the water heater, please take reinforcement actions in case
of strength deficiency.
7.8 Fume exhaust pipe installation
7.8.1 Installation attentions
●The water heater must be mounted with fume exhaust pipe with ID Φ60mm/Φ100mm, please do not
use fume exhaust pipe of other diamete
r.
●Fume exhaust pipe is allowed to have extension of 2m/1bent at most.
7.8.2 Typical installation case
16
●In order to settle the problem that fume exhaust hose is short in water heater installation, our
company particularly offers two options for extension pipe, 500mm and 1000mm. If extension is
required, please purchase it from local subsidiary or franchisor.
Ⅷ
. Judgment and countermeasures for errors and abnormalities
8.1 Non-error cases
Phenomenon
Auto flameout after 45min continuous
use
White flame from exhaust outlet
No hot water flows out immediately after
hot-water faucet is turned on
Di
fficult ignition for initial use
Forced fan still rotates in the short term
after hot-water faucet is turned off
Cold water flow out when the hot-water
faucet is openned/turned small
W
ater flows out from the safety valve
Occassional sharp sound during use
Cause and countermeasure
Overtime safety protection. Close the hot-water faucet for
several seconds and re-open.
Exhausted fume contains much water steam, it turns white
when contacts cold ai

utside.
There is certain distance from the water heater to hot-water
faucet, what comes out first is the water residue, so you
need to wait a short while till it’s all drained.
Because there is air in the gas pipe, please turn the faucet
on and off times over, then you’ll make it.
Forced fan is designed with stop lag function in order to
exhaust all flue gas in the combustion chambe
r.
Hot-water faucet is turned too small (less than startup flux)
so that automatic flameout and the water turns cold.
It’s inappropriate to turn the faucet too small during use.
T
o relieve excessive pressure in order to avoid too much
pressure in the heat exchanger
Gas is empty or too low pressure for reducing valve
8.2 When flame symbol on the control panel disappears
●During use if the flame symbol on the control panel disappeared, it means safety protection be activated.
Display flashes to show the error code from E1 to E8.
Then user can know the cause for error and/or
abnormality according to the indicated code.
Error code

Cause
Ignition failure
Accidental flameout or flue
blockage
Excess hot water or dry
heating
Failure of temperature sensor
Confirmation and countermeasures
Is gas knob turned on? Is there no gas in
the gas tank? Stop the water supply and
restart.
Is there no gas in the gas tank? Is water
pressure too low? Is gas supply smooth?
Stop the water supply and restart.
