Maintenance is an essential to the safe
and effi

cient operation of the appliance

and ensures a long service life. It should
be performed in accordance with the in-
structions set out by current legislation.

WARNING!

Before doing any maintenance work,
close the gas supply cock and the do-
mestic water circuit cock.

We recommend you make the following
checks on the water heater at least once
a year
1. Check for water leaks.
2. Check for gas leaks and replace gas-

kets as necessary.

3. Inspect the overall condition of the

water heater and the combustion.

4. Inspect the combustion chamber and

clean the burner if necessary.

5. Following checks 3 and 4, remove

and clean the nozzle if necessary.

6. Adjust for correct gas ﬂ owrate.
7. Check operation of the water safety

devices (temperature and pressure
limits).

8. Check for correct operation of gas

safety systems (gas or ﬂ ame failure,
gas valve etc)

9. Check that the room is correctly venti-

lated.

MAINTENANCE

10. Check that the combustion products

(ﬂ ue gas) are exhausted correctly.

NB: during this cleaning operation the
inside water tank must not suff er any
blows that could damage the internal
protective lining.

Information for the user

Inform the user on how to operate the
appliance.
In particular, provide the user with the in-
struction manual and inform him/her that
it must be stored with the appliance.
Moreover, make sure the user is aware
of the following:
- How to set the temperature and ad-
