OPERATING MODES
COOL
COOLING
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button to select the cooling mode, the air condi-
tioning unit cools down the room while at the same time reducing the humidity in the air. Set the desired room tem-
perature using the
ADJUST
buttons. The appliance regulates the compressor’s operation cycles automatically in order
to keep the room at the desired temperature.
Example: if the temperature in the room is 28°C, you should set a temperature below 27°C for the compressor to start
and the cooling to begin.

DRY
DEHUMIDIFICATION
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button to select the AUTO mode. In
“AUTO”
mode, the electronic control automatically selects the operating mode according to the room temperature (measu-
red by the sensor incorporated into the Internal Unit):
- If the temperature of the room exceeds the temperature set using the remote control by two degrees, the applian-
ce operates in cooling mode with the fan operating at low speed.
- If the ambient temperature is lower than the temperature set using the remote control by 1°C, then the applian-
ce comes to heating mode.
The “
AUTO”
mode can also be enabled using the selector situated beneath the front panel on the Internal Unit
.
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button to select the dehumidification mode,
This mode, with its alternating cooling and ventilation cycles, is designed to obtain the dehumidification of the
air without the room temperature being altered considerably. Operation is completely automatic: the applian-
ce regulates the fan speed itself. If the temperature of the room exceeds the temperature set using the remo-
te control by two degrees, the appliance operates in cooling mode with the fan operating at low speed.
Press the ON/OFF button, select an operating mode (COOL, HEAT or AUTO) using the MODE button and set the
desired temperature. Press the TURBO button
The TURBO function enables the air conditioning unit to reach the temperature set on the remote control within a
very short space of time. When the set temperature has been reached, the air conditioning unit will revert to the
operating mode set previously.
NOTES: While the DRY or FAN modes are set, the SLEEP and TURBO functions cannot be enabled.
TURBO
HEAT
HEATING
Press the ON-OFF button on the remote control. Press the MODE button to select the heating mode, the word
HEAT will come up on the display screen. In this mode, the air conditioning unit heats the room by means of the
“heat pump” operation. In fact, in this mode, the room is heated using the heat contained in the outside air at a low
temperature. For the heating cycle to start, set a temperature above the room temperature using the
“TEMP” buttons. The appliance regulates the compressor ’s operation cycles automatically in order to
keep the room at the desired temperature.
Press the ON/OFF button and select an operating mode (COOL, HEAT or AUTO) using the MODE button. Press
the FOLLOW ME button. The FOLLOW ME function detects the temperature of the room in which the remote con-
trol is located (the remote control sends a temperature reading to the air conditioning unit every 3 minutes). The
function can be deactivated by pressing the FOLLOW ME button again. If the air conditioning unit does not recei-
ve any reading for 7 minutes the function will be deactivated automatically.
