Attach the carrier into the  

base until you hear a click.  

Lift up on the handle of the 

carrier to make sure that it 

is securely attached in the 

base.

If the carrier does not latch  

securely into the base, 

CHECK to make sure green 

is  visible on the indicators 

 before installing the carrier  

onto the base.  If green is 

NOT  visible pull up on red 

 release handle.   ALWAYS lift 

up on the carrier to check 

that it is securely attached 

to base.

Check the level indicator 

to make sure it is level. If it 

is not level, remove LATCH 

connectors and adjust the 

foot on the base then  

re-install base.  Check that 

the ball rests in the zone of 

your  child’s weight. Refer to 

pages 43-45 for Adjusting 

the Recline.
