Appendix H -- SD Card Selection & Preparation
Argus Science provides a Pre-Formatted 128GB microSDXC card (SanDisk SDSQUAR-128G-
GN6MA) with adapter with each ETVision system delivered.
If additional microSDXC cards are purchased, the following is a list of Specifications and Preparation
instructions that will ensure maximum performance with the
ETVision
.

Card Preparation:
1.
Insert the microSDXC card into the SD card adapter
2.
Insert SD card adapter with microSDXC card into SD slot of Win10 laptop
3.
Open SD as folder options
4.
Right Click on Drive> Select “Properties”>Select “Hardware” tab>Select “Properties”>Select
“Policies” tab>Select “Optimize for Performance”. Close.
5.
Right Click on Drive>Select “Format” (make sure to select the CD card!)>Select “NTFS” and
as an option, you may add a name to the “Volume Label” such as ETV.
