Connect
the
battery
to
the
ESC.
ALSO,
YOU
MUST
BE
CAREFUL
TO
ENSURE
PROPER
POLARITY
WHEN
CONNECTING
THE
BATTERY
TO
THE
ESC.
By
orienting/aligning
the
wire
leads
of
the
battery
and
ESC
so
they’re
‘red
to
red’
and
‘black
to
black’
you’ll
be
able
to
make
the
connection
with
correct
polarity.
‘Reverse’
polarity
connection
will
cause
damage
to
and/or
destroy
the
ESC
and
battery
(and
may
also
result
in
fire!)!
With
the
transmitter
powered
on
and
the
battery
connected
to
the
ESC
you
should
have
full
control
of
the
aileron,
elevator
and
rudder
servos/control
surfaces.
YOU
MUST
ALSO
EXERCISE
EXTREME
CAUTION
AS
THE
MOTOR/PROPLLER
WILL
SPIN
ANYTIME
THE
LEFT
‐
HAND/THROTTLE
STICK
IS
RAISED
ABOVE
THE
LOWEST
POSSIBLE
POSITION!
Position
the
airplane
so
you
and
all
objects
are
clear
of
the
propeller.
We
recommend
positioning
the
airplane
so
the
propeller
is
pointed
away
from
you
and
you
are
able
to
hold
on
to
the
fuselage
and/or
wing
securely.
With
all
objects
clear
of
the
propeller,
including
in
the
plane
of
rotation
and
in
front
of
it,
hold
on
to
the
model
securely
to
test
operation
of
the
throttle/power
system.
HOLD
THE
AIRPLANE
SECURELY
then
slowly
raise
the
left
‐
hand/throttle
stick
until
it
reaches
the
highest
possible
position
and
the
power
system
is
at
‘full
power’.
Then
lower
the
stick
to
the
lowest
possible
position
to
turn
the
power
system
off.
After
confirming
the
ESC
has
armed
and
the
power
system
is
performing
properly
the
P
‐
51D
Mustang
350
is
ready
to
fly!
However,
please
review
the
following
sections
of
the
manual
BEFORE
proceeding
with
the
first
flight.
