FOREWORD

Congratulations! You have chosen a quality Arctic Cat Snowmobile designed and

manufactured to give dependable service. Be sure, as the owner/operator of an

Arctic Cat Snowmobile, to become thoroughly familiar with its basic operation,

maintenance, and off-season storage procedures. Read this manual and the

accompanying Snowmobile Safety Handbook before operating the snowmobile

to learn safe and proper use of your new Arctic Cat Snowmobile. Always operate

the snowmobile within your level of skill and current terrain conditions.
The Operator’s Manual, Snowmobile Safety Handbook, and Snowmobile Decals

display the words Warning, Caution, and Note to emphasize important informa-

tion. The symbol

! WARNING

 identifies personal safety-related informa-

tion. Be sure to follow the directive because it deals with the possibility of severe

personal injury or even death. The symbol

! CAUTION

 identifies unsafe

practices which may result in snowmobile-related damage. Follow the directive

because it deals with the possibility of damaging part or parts of the snowmobile.
