The electric resistance is a filament-type and supplied
inside the battery pipes and therefore can be only fac-
tory mounted.
The configuration product, with electrical resistance,
provides the use of No. 2 safety thermostats for sizes
10/15 and No. 3 safety thermostats for sizes 20, acts to
limit overheating inside the unit itself.
The first intervention thermostat has automatic rearming
(and therefore is reset automatically as soon as the fault
has ended), whereas the second intervention thermostat
has manual rearming (the position of the reset device is
as shown in the figure).
In the event the manual rearm protective device inter-
venes, the system will need to be restored only after
having cut power and found out the cause of the fault
(intervention reserved for maintenance operators alone).
The air flow should not be obstructed.
Warnings!
When first installing the appliance, before starting
the electric heaters, check that the fan on the unit
is working correctly at all two speeds envisaged.
The electric variant provides that after the unit turned
off the fan continues to run to cool the inside of the unit.
The air curtain must always be switched off using the
control, and the fan over-run allowed to operate fully
prior to isolation from the mains supply. If this sequence
is not followed, the thermal safety cut-outs may operate,
and will need to be manually re-set before the air-curtain
will operate.

The “ DCB-E” air curtain units have an electronic con-
trol set to carry out different functions and adjustment
modes, in order to meet the installation requirements.
The control is adjusted by a
T-MB control
(code ZE0161 0001).
Start-up
When the unit is used for the ἀrst time or after a long
period of disuse, smoke or odour may result from dust
or dirt that has collected on the element. This is com-
pletely normal and disappears after a short time.
