The Main Fire Door / Air Control Lever
These handles can reach 100°C +. Always use a stove mitten !
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FIRE DOOR & AIR CONTROL
HANDLES
Stove gloves are supplied with your Arada Farringdon,
these are provided for the operation of the fire door
handle and adjusting the air control lever whilst the
stove is in use.
Care must be taken when opening and closing the fire
door and adjusting the air controls as any surrounding
areas of the stove will be very hot.
WARNING:
Never attempt to open the fire door or adjust the air
controls whilst the appliance is in use
WITHOUT the
use of a stove glove or suitable gloves as a serious
injury may occur.
Caution must be taken when re-fuelling the appliance,
always keep the stove glove away from naked flames
and sparks.

WARNING
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD THIS
STOVE BE OPERATED FOR EXTENDED
PERIODS WITH THE MAIN FIRE DOOR OPEN.
THIS WILL RESULT IN AN OVER FIRING
SITUATION AND WILL QUICKLY LEAD TO
SEVERE DAMAGE TO THE STOVE AND FLUE
SYSTEM.
