Before Using the Handset

It is recommended to use AC Adapter 04 for charging with the 
desktop holder. Following operations describe how to charge 
with AC Adapter 04.

Insert the microUSB plug of the AC adapter 
horizontally into the connector terminal of the 
desktop holder with the side marked with “B” 
turned up

:

Check the direction (front or rear) of the microUSB plug and 
insert it horizontally.

Erect the AC adapter power plug and insert it 
into an outlet

When placing the handset on the desktop 
holder, the charging illumination illuminates 
and charging starts

:

Place the handset in the direction of the arrow so that it fits 
the desktop holder and make sure that a click is heard.

When charging is complete, the charging 
illumination turns off

:

Hold the desktop holder and lift the handset after tilting it 
towards you.

Remove the AC adapter power plug from the 
outlet

Remove the microUSB plug of the AC adapter 
horizontally from the connector terminal of the 
desktop holder

Following operations describe how to charge with AC Adapter 04 
or DC Adapter 03.

Open the external connector terminal cover of 
the handset

Hook the tip of a finger under the concave portion to open.

Insert the microUSB plug of the AC adapter/DC 
adapter horizontally into the external connector 
terminal on the handset with the side marked 
with “B” turned up

Check the direction (front or rear) of the microUSB plug and 
insert it horizontally.

When the charging illumination does not illuminate, check that 
the handset is placed securely on the desktop holder.

 

When placing the handset on the desktop holder, be careful not 
to let a strap etc. caught.

 

You cannot charge the battery by connecting the desktop 
holder and a PC via a microUSB cable.
