Long term preservation (mothballing) of the plant 2
A standard 1/2” hose can be used for this purpose, which should be fitted onto the
HP threaded connector of the high pressure pump to drain the water out into a
bucket. Then drain the all the water from the pump, which is important if there is a
risk of frost, if possible it is also preferable to blow pressurized air through it in the
direction of flow, for this purpose remove both hoses. Alternatively: switch on HP
pump short,
for approx. 2 seconds

Caution
:
At every recommissioning after cleaning or mothballing, divert the product water over the
test-outlet for the first 30 minutes to rinse the chemical completely out of the system.
