To avoid possible electric shock, special care
should be taken when using this appliance near water.

Always isolate the PSU from the mains electricity
before carrying out any maintenance on your AquaRay set up.
The SmartControl 8 unit is not a customer serviceable part.
Caution:
Do not attempt to open the plastic case of the
SmartControl 8 unit. This will invalidate the guarantee.
The SmartControl 8 unit should need little or no
maintenance once set up. However occasional cleaning may
be necessary. This can be done with a warm damp cloth.
Troubleshooting
Problem: The SmartControl 8 unit does not
switch on.
Solution: Check cable connection between PSU and controller.
Solution: Check power cord is firmly connected to PSU.
Solution: Check (and replace if necessary) the fuse in the
PSU’s power cord plug (UK only). If the controller still
does not switch on, return the unit to your local stockist
for further testing and replacement if necessary.
Problem: The SmartControl 8 unit does not
control the lamp units.
Solution: Check the connection between the lamp units
and the SmartControl 8 unit.
Solution: Check the program settings.If the controller still
does not control the lamp units, return the unit to your local
stockist for further testing and replacement if necessary.
