PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES
Do not allow direct sunlight on the electronics unit.
Do not let water come into contact with the connector of the electronics unit and the power supply cable.
Connect and disconnect the power supply cable with dry hands only.
Do not disassemble the electronics unit of the J.SHMIDT 500 by yourself.
CAUTION! Do not wash the electronics unit!
POSSIBLE MALFUNCTIONS AND METHODS OF RECTIFICATION
MANUFACTURER'S WARRANTY
The manufacturer guarantees operation of the J.SHMIDT 500 (excluding the replacement filter cartridge) for a period of
2 years from the date of sale.
The service life of the J.SHMIDT 500 (excluding the replacement filter cartridge) is 3 years from the date of sale, but no
longer than 5 years from the date of production.
The total lifespan of the replacement filter cartridge is 500 litres (132 US gallons) of water from water mains. The total life
of the replacement filter cartridge may vary depending on the quality of the source water (for example, if it contains a high
amount of impurities or is very hard). Once the end of the lifespan of the module has been reached, it has to be replaced.
The shelf life of the J.SHMIDT 500 prior to the start of operation is 3 years at a temperature of +5 to +40 °С (41F –
104 °F) in undamaged packaging.
If you have any complaints about the performance of the J.SHMIDT 500, contact its seller or manufacturer.
Claims arising from the J.SHMIDT 500 with signs of external damages shall not be accepted.
The manufacturer reserves the right to improve the design of the J.SHMIDT 500 without reflecting them in the Instruc-
tion Manual (Technical Passport).

Malfunction Solution to the Problem
The compressor is running, but the jug is not
being filled with purified water.
Make sure the electronics unit is tightly sealed on
top of the funnel.
Water is being filtrated very slowly, but the
FILTER is flashing green or red / green.
– Make sure the electronics unit is tightly sealed on
top of the funnel.
– The filter capacity is exhausted or will be
exhausted soon: replace the filter cartridge.
The compressor does not run, but the BATTERY
flashes 1 time per minute (green).
Make sure there is water in the funnel.
The compressor does not run and the BATTERY
does not flash 1 time per minute.
