INSTALLATION AND USE MANUAL – HEATING ELEMENT
1.
PACKAGING CONTENTS
Electric heating element with temperature control
and a built-in cable with plug
2.
PURPOSE AND CONDITIONS OF USE
The heating elements are intended as an additional heat source for bathroom radiators with a G1/2“ thread connection. The 1/2“ thread is suitable
for most radiators on the market with a standard connection. Please contact your radiator supplier regarding the suitability of the connection to
your radiator.
Heating element can be connected with the plug to the power supply with a voltage of 220 - 240 V; 50/60 Hz. Before the installation of heating
element read carefully the instructions of the manual. Keep the manual also for future reference.

SELECTION OF HEATING ELEMENT
The heating element must be selected according to the output of the radiator or its design. Radiator manufacturers usually specify the required
heating element output for a specific type of radiator. The following table shows the approximate output of radiators suitable for TS- heating
elements.
Radiator output [W] at ΔT = 50K (75/65/20°C)
Radiator output [W] at ΔT = 60K (90/75/20°C)

The heating element must be shorter than the part of the radiator in which it is installed, at least 10 cm shorter. The heating element cannot touch
the interior side of the radiator.

PRODUCT ASSEMBLY
If the bathroom radiator is connected to the central heating system, the heating element is installed via a T-piece and the radiator heat transfer
liquid is heated by an electric heating element or by means of an existing hot water source of the heating system. In case of bathroom radiators that
are not part of the hot water heating system, the electric heating element is installed without a T-piece.
Bathroom radiators with a combined method of heating can be placed in zones 2 and 3 (according to ČSN 33 200-7-701 standard, next to a
washbasin, bath or shower).
The electric heating element must be installed by a qualified expert in accordance with the regulations in force. Inappropriate installation can cause
serious injuries to people or animals and property damage.
The heating element cannot be installed in a vertical position with the power supply at the top. Before starting work or maintenance of the device
always disconnect the power supply. If the device seem to have a malfunction or damage, switch it off and call a service technician.
PROCEDURE:
1) Prepare the radiator for installation according to the manufacturer's instructions. The heating element must be installed before filling the
radiator body with heat transfer liquid. If you install the heating element in a radiator already connected to the central heating system, it is
necessary to drain the liquid from a radiator.
2) (In case of assembly without T-piece, go directly to point 3).
Carefully screw the T-piece onto the radiator and position it according to the connection to the central heating system.
