5.3 Hoses of the dosing pump
Careful: The turning rotor can trap your fingers! Before carrying out
any work on the pump, disconnect the voltage and secure to prevent
it from being switched back on!
Caution: Do not touch the motor directly after operation! First allow
the motor to cool down!
Protect yourself from the dosing medium! Ensure that the system is
not pressurised!
Note: Hoses are consumables!
The hoses of the dosing pump must be replaced annually and earlier if worn. To do this,
only use original replacement hoses. These can be obtained from your specialist pool
dealer.
The following hoses may be used:
701007 Replacement hose VITON for 0.4 – 2.4 l/h, suitable for
− Sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach) [NaOCl] up to12%
− Hydrogen peroxide (active oxygen) [H2O2] up to 30%
− Sulphuric acid [H2SO4] up to 30%
− Hydrochloric acid [HCL] up to 38%
− Not suitable for pH elevators (sodium hydroxide) [NaOH]
701005 Replacement hose PHARMED for 0.4 – 2.4 l/h, suitable for
− Sodium hydroxide [NaOH) up to 30%
− Sodium hypochlorite (chlorine bleach) [NaOCl] up to 12%
− Hydrogen peroxide (active oxygen) [H2O2] up to 30%
− Sulphuric acid [H2SO4] up to 30%
− Conditionally suitable for hydrochloric acid [HCL]
Note: Dosing systems are supplied from the factory with Pharmed hoses.
The used hose material must be suitable for the water care products
and must be changed if necessary.
